Covid information - your visit to the festival

(Status as of 19th August 2021)

Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the 75th edition of the Septembre Musical Montreux-Vevey festival from September 18th to 30th, in our six concert venues!

In agreement with the cantonal and federal authorities, the festival requires a valid Covid certificate as well as an identity document to access the concerts. This is the only constraint imposed at the moment. Children under the age of 16 are exempt from the certificate. Inside the building, the public is free to move around and drink at the bar, seated or standing, without masks or social distancing. However, we recommend that you wear a mask in the indoor areas, although it is up to you. For more information.

How do I get my Covid certificate?
You must either :

  • be fully vaccinated (the certificate is issued after the second dose)
  • have a certificate of recovery (info)
  • have a negative test (PCR or rapid antigenic test), the institution that does the test issues this certificate. Please note: the rapid test must be carried out no more than 48 hours before entering the festival area and the PCR test no more than 72 hours before. The self-test is not valid for the Covid certificate.

All official information from the State of Vaud concerning the Covid certificate (obtaining and validity) is here.

The test sites (PCR and rapid) in the canton are listed here. Here are two test sites in Montreux:

  • Quai Sant√©, avenue des Alpes 74. Opening hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 9:00 to 12:30. Phone +41 21 964 30 00.
  • Mobi Test, avenue du Casino 45. Open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, Sunday 9am to 5pm. Phone +41 78 708 64 09.

Don't forget to carry your health insurance card with you. As a reminder, the rapid (antigenic) test is valid for 48 hours, the PCR for 72 hours.
